I don’t think it is a surprise for anyone that I am dedicated to promoting the Ocicat. It is a wonderful breed, intelligent, active, and playful; yes I could go on a couple of pages. This is the reason that I have taken on reporting any interesting UK news about the breed in Cat Planet.

Breeder notes

In each issue of the magazine is there a column called Ocicat Breeder Notes. Here I write about show brags, your cats’ titles, kittens, and other Ocicat relevant issues. In principle there are no limits to what the column can contain.

I can, and I do, report news about my own Ocicats but the purpose is to highlight what is going on in the world of the Ocicat here in the UK so I need input from you. I will of course report show results where I have attended the show myself but I need to know what else is going on.

Send me your Ocicat news

This is where you come into the picture; send your news about your own Ocicat, show results, new imports or events or anything you find relevant. Cat Planet has deadlines like any other magazine but you can just send your news as soon as you have any. I’ll add to the column and send it in before the deadline. Don’t wait until I ask for news online, which I will continue to do; just send them.
