| The litter's First Week |

Ylva Lorena's litter is now about a week old and Ylva enjoys her new role as a mother. The kittens are of course all wonderful. They have beautiful and clear spots - as expected. We are almost sure of the kittens' sexes and have started to think about names. Any suggestions are welcome. Take a look at the litter here.  p1010027   p1010029  p1010042
The kittens are all growing and you can see that their size increases by the day. Their mother has also started to eat and drink a lot more. She has put on weight - about 400 grams, which becomes her very well. From time to time she leaves the kittens to get some exercise and to be stroked. Recently she also demands that we play with her. The kittens are weighed each day to ensure that they grow as expected but it is also a wonderful chance for us to touch and look at them. For now we refer to them as red, green, blue and black but we have also started to recognise their individual features and spots! |
