Our ocicats are used to run freely between the house and their outdoor cat run. Now that they are used to the house they have started to think that the outside is interesting. Just as any ocicat they are curious. Both Cato and Kira have stood before the door and declared that is was closed. Their way to implicit say that we should open the door so that they could get out.

We have already foreseen that this would happen.

Their new Cat Run

Their old cat run was built by ourselves. That was not difficult. However now the situation is different and we have searched for a ready-made cat run. Perferable a IKEA flatpack solution.

We intended the cat run to be placed on the terrace. It is not certain that it will remain this way so we wanted a modular solution. A few cat magazines let us to Grange Pet Centre, which makes modules for cat runs. We have ordered a 2 meter wide and 6 meter long solution with a porch. The porch fits the door in size and the difference in height is catered for using the net visible on the terrace.

Now we eagerly awaits the delivery of our modules ...
